Mixing Stripes with Valentinos

It’s 5 am in Madrid, and I am wide-awake, damn jetlag. So instead of tossing and turning in my bed, and loose a couple more hours, I am here at my (hotel) desk, writing to all of you! Today, I wanted to share an outfit that I wore a couple days before leaving for my trip. I love mixing casual and dressier pieces together.

For example, that day I opted for a flowy grey shirtdress with a shirt around my waist and finished the look for my valentinos. As you all I know, I have been obsessed with neutrals lately #sorrynotsorry. When mixing neutrals, the possibilities are endless. I encourage you to try it! Xx, p.

Quede lista! Xx, p.

When combining stripes with Valentino pieces, opt for classic and well-defined stripes. Thin, vertical stripes can be more flattering and elongating connections, while horizontal stripes can add a more casual and relaxed feel to the outfit. Stay away from overly bold or clashing stripe patterns that might overpower the elegance of Valentino’s designs.

Your choice of a flowy grey shirtdress paired with a shirt around your waist sounds effortlessly chic and perfect for a day out. Adding a touch of elegance with your Valentinos is a great way to elevate the overall ensemble.
