How to wear a dress in the winter

image

During the winter, I find myself wearing a lot of jeans, mainly because it’s so COLD. During NYFW, I had to get creative with the single digit temps so, it inspired me to blog about it. In continuation of my “how to” series, today we are going to talk about how to wear a dress in the winter. First off, go to your closet and pick out a dress. I would go with a flowy, or ruffled dress because with a body-con will bulk up with all the layers. Then, look at the dress and figure out the color palette. Depending on that, go with a color coordinated turtle neck. For the tights, you can either opt for the same color as the turtle neck or if you are in the mood, go with something funky like metallic tights (just like the BCBG models this past runway.) If you went with “safe” black hues like I did, try to add in a splash of color with a cool accessory.

All in all, do what makes you feel comfortable and stylish, because in the end if you don’t feel secure of what you are wearing you are not going to rock it. Confidence is everything, embrace it! Hope you all have an amazing Tuesday and as always thanks for stopping by.

So fun! It is always great to step out of the confort zone and wear something that’s not a pair of jeans, I should do it more often 😛
    Have a great day!
