Two months into 2016! How long ago did you give up on those New Year’s resolutions?!
Well, if you did, time to get motivated again! You only fail when you stop trying, so get up and do something that will get you on the path to achieve those resolutions, however, big or small they may be!
As you might remember, my goals for 2016 were to take better care of my health (aka body), finally get around to finish decorating my home, and last but not least, take special care of my skin. I know this is around the time that most of us forget about our resolutions, so I thought I would update you on how I have been doing! Hopefully it might give some of you (and me) a bit of inspiration!
I am happy to say I can cross one item off my list! I finally finished decorating my home. Of course, I might add or change things here and there but the hard part is over! (a whole blog post coming on this soon!)
I have really been focusing on living an active and healthy lifestyle. I started back up on Barrys Bootcamp, which has reminded me how much I love running. I am doing a 5K soon and hope to participate in many more. I really want to take advantage of all the activities San Diego has to offer!
I am always talking about how I wish I had more time. I feel like I am always non-stop and sometimes I neglect little things that matter. I have been focusing on really having a good skin-care routine and taking the time to give my skin the attention it needs. As I mentioned before, I started the Avon ANEW Ultimate regimen. Before going out or doing anything, I make sure to put on the Multi-Performance Day Cream Broad Spectrum. It protects my skin from the sun with SPF 25 and gives my skin the moisture it needs to start the day. At night before going to bed I use their night cream and their Multi-Performance Eye Cream. I never really used eye cream before, but now I don’t think I can live without it! It really helps to relax and de-puff my eyes, especially on those many long days and nights. I love seeing improvements in my skin and I really encourage everyone to have a good skin routine and be patient with seeing results, whatever your resolution may be!
I hope you enjoyed this small recap, and I hope it keeps you motivated to fulfill those New Years resolutions! As always, thanks for stopping by!
