London Travel Guide

Last month I was in London for London Fashion Week so I thought I would put together a guide on my personal recommendations if you ever find yourself in London. London is such an extraordinary city with so much history, art, life, things to do and see, you probably need to come back many times to do it all. And while I am sure there are countless things you might already have on your London bucket-list, here are some of my personal favorites.

Hotel

The May Fair Hotel One word: Wow! This hotel is amazing! It’s a 5 star hotel that was actually opened by King George the V in 1927. History follows you everywhere you go in London. I personally loved it not only because it was incredibly luxurious and beautiful (it has Sicilian marble bathroom floors), but because it was just a 7 minute walk to all the shops and boutiques on Oxford street. The hotel has an incredible restaurant that serves exquisite food and even has a casino. If you don’t stay here, you at least should go grab a drink at the bar.

Restaurants

Sketch This place is so fun and if you are looking for something unique go here! It is an 18th-century townhouse tea room that transforms into a cocktail lounge in the evening. It has funky artwork and vibrant colors and the food is delicious! Definitely a one-of-a-kind experience!

The Clove Club- If you are looking for an incredible meal in London The Clove Club has it all. You will not be disappointed. It is a bit pricey but if you want to treat yourself to a nice meal, this is the place to go! Try the tasting menu or you can order a-la-carte. It is definitely worth the price!

Insta-Worthy Cafés

Biscuiteers This is a tiny but adorable café where they sell original hand-iced “biscuits” or cookies as I would call them. You can even decorate your own and the place is just way too cute!

Café Royal- You have to have your afternoon tea when you are in London and this place is where you need to go. It is a luxurious 5 Star hotel located in the center of the city and has the most jaw-dropping, elegant café where tourists can go and enjoy a cup of tea. Famous artists have dined here and Oscar Wilde even held the court here.

Sightseeing

Rainbow Row- There is a lot to see and do in London. I personally like to explore and walk around even though I know there are a ton of museums and others things that are also worthwhile. I loved walking through what is known as “Rainbow Row” in Notting Hill. All the houses are painted in different pastel colors. It is so amazing to walk down this street.

Big Ben- You can’t miss this one. The iconic clock tower at the Palace of Westminster is a sight to see. There is so much history you really feel like you travel back in time.

Westminster Abbey- If you really want your daily dose of history, go to Westminster Abbey. Kings, queens, soldiers, poets, literary geniuses, heroes and villains are buried here. It is a must-see if you truly wish to live British history. Over a million people visit the 700-year-old building each year. It was such an amazing and eerie feeling to be in such an old and historic place surrounded by the tombs of some of the world’s most famous people.

I like London and the whole of the UK – it’s a beautiful country. I lived there for six months and during this time I had the opportunity to travel around many cities. I just rented a car under 21 at local rental offices here for more details and went on small road trips around the cities of the UK

On the other hand, a real casino offers an ambiance and experience that’s challenging to replicate. The allure of the casino floor, the social interaction, the tangible atmosphere, and the thrill of the live environment create an unparalleled experience. The physical casino setting provides a sense of glamour in https://dobramine.co/krypto-kasyno/, social engagement, and the excitement of being part of a vibrant, bustling environment.

One of the most enchanting aspects of travel is the way it broadens our perspectives. Venturing into new territories exposes us to a myriad of customs, traditions, and ways of life. It challenges preconceived notions and fosters a sense of cultural empathy, breaking down barriers and fostering a deeper understanding of the global community. Traveling is a powerful teacher, offering lessons that extend beyond the pages of any textbook. It encourages adaptability, resilience, and an appreciation for the rich tapestry of human existence.
