Waking up in the city that never sleeps almost makes me feel bad that I fell asleep in the first place, but trust me, I need my beauty sleep for this upcoming week.

But before we get to that, let’s talk about the west coast for a minute, or, at least the outfit I wore last week. If you have been following me around for a while, you know that I love pairing up a cool statement skirt with a basic casual t-shirt, so when I saw this skirt at Nordstrom I knew exactly what I had to do — I had to go home and find a t-shirt in my closet! I threw on some Chloe wedges and voila! I had a simple and cool summer outfit that was just the right amount of dressed up. Such an easy recipe for style, right?

Buenos dias! Despertándome en la ciudad que nunca duerme, me hace sentir mal de que me quedé dormida desde un principio, pero se que necesito descansar para esta próxima semana. Pero antes de llegar a eso, primero hay que platicar sobre un outfit que me puse la semana pasada. Para los que llevan un rato siguiéndome en el blog, saben que me encantan las camisetas. Se me hacen perfectas para cualquier outfit entonces ya se imaginaran que cuando vi esta falda en Nordstrom, fue lo primero que se me vino a la mente. Sabía exactamente lo que tenía que hacer — tenía que llegar a mi casa y encontrar una camiseta! Me puse mis zapatos Chloe y listo! En un segundo tenía un outfit sencillo y pero con suficiente estilo para cualquier ocasión en el verano. Acuérdense que el chiste es no tratar de combinar todo a la ves. Es bueno encontrar una pieza que llame la atención, como en este caso la falda, y lo demás dejarlo neutro y por desapercibido. Es una receta fácil el estilo, verdad?
