It’s Mon….. better yet, I am not even going to say it. All I know the Monday blues are here. Ugh, I said it! But hey, didn’t that cup of coffee make you feel better this morning? If you missed my blog post yesterday, you can see it here. My Monday started out with some morning calls, and now I am about to tackle some emails. This outfit was inspired by my next trip, can you guess where I am headed?
Ok, fine I’ll tell you, I am off to the Amalfi Coast on August 18th, and will be taking a cruise on the Mediterranean sea. This trip has completely taken over my brain, it is all I can think about. My man and I decided to book it a year ago, and all I remember thinking at that point was, “UGH, in a year!” Now, we are only 20 days away, and my brain already wants to start packing! It’s crazy how time flies!
So subconsciously, the inspiration has begun. I will be visiting towns like Cinqueterre, Capri and Sorrento, so I would definitely wear something like this, except for the platforms of course. It will be so hot, that I plan to take loose clothing and comfortable clothes. You know me, I am all about comfort. If you don’t feel comfortable in what you are wearing, you will not be the only one to notice. Anyways, I can’t get too carried away, I have a huge list of to do’s for today. I went to the Amalfi Coast for the first time last year, visiting Sorrento, Positano, Capri, and Naples, and I swear that my heart hurts for Capri every couple weeks. It’s like a palpable yearning to get back! Make sure to take a boat ride around the island, that’s what made me fall in love!!
