3 Apps I Use to Edit my Instagram Photos

Time to reveal the magic!ย So many of you ask me about what apps I use to edit my photos so I thought I would give you some of my personal tips! I would love to get your feedback on this and if you like posts and information like this to help you with your own blogs/photos etc. Let me know what kind of tips related to this you would like to see! So, here are the best photo editing apps, in my opinion, and how I use them!

Facetune

First things first. Facetune is an extremely powerful app where you can do some intense editing and completely change and alter what you look like. I am really not in favor of doing this and putting out completely altered photos. I only use Facetune to smooth out some fine lines on my skin and wrinkles on my clothing. I use the detail feature to make jewelry and details on my clothes and accessories pop out.ย  Overall, the less editing you do and the more natural it looks, the better! It’s just knowing how to make certain things pop! I hit Save and then go on to the next app.

Realmente no estoy a favor de hacer esto y publicar fotos completamente alteradas. Solo uso Facetune para alisar algunas lรญneas en mi piel y arrugas en mi ropa. Uso la funciรณn de detalle para hacer que resalten mรกs las joyas y los detalles de mi ropa y accesorios. En general, cuanto menos edites y mรกs natural se vea, ยกmejor! ยกEs solo saber cรณmo hacer que resalten ciertas cosas! Guardo la foto con los cambios y luego voy a la siguiente aplicaciรณn.

Snapseed

I really like to use the Tune Image feature. I adjust the brightness and contrast and what I usually like to play around with is the ambience. I usually put that up to 20. Then I use the Details feature and I sharpen the image like around 10.

En Snapseed me gusta usar la funciรณn Tune Image. Ajusto el brillo y el contraste y lo que generalmente me gusta alterar es el ambiente. Normalmente lo pongo hasta 20. Luego uso la funciรณn de detalles y agudizo la imagen como alrededor de 10.

VSCO

Then I take the saved edited image from Snapseed and head on over to VSCO. I really like the A-series and usually I just play around to see which one of the A-series pre-sets works better with the specific photo. Once I decide what pre-set, I manually lower the editing on it so it’s not all the way to 100%. Then I crop and I use the 4.5 ratio so it fits long on Instagram. Then I hit save and it’s ready to upload!

Luego tomo la imagen editada guardada de Snapseed y me dirijo a VSCO. Me gusta mucho la serie A y normalmente juego con los diferentes sets para ver cuรกl set de la serie A funciona mejor con la foto especรญfica.       So funny I have the same phone case! Mine is red glitter instead of gold on the back but it is exactly the same design, I bought it here in Fort Lauderdale beach Florida

    Thanks for sharing your favorite apps. I use facetune too but would love to be able to use to its full potential. Why don’t you do a tutorial showing how you use all these apps? I have VSCO but not sure how it works.

    Vasco is one of my favorite tools. This photo editing app was perfect for touching up my photos. This was able to take basic photos and make them look almost professional. It keeps my anonymity and allows me to really focus on the features that matter to me. Thanks for sharing such a useful post.
