If there’s one thing we all want, it’s healthy skin. Of course, there are many things we can be doing to improve our skin health. Wearing sunscreen and avoiding sleeping with makeup on are just two of the obvious ones and chances are you’re probably overlooking a bunch of skincare musts. Here are 7 not-so-obvious things we should all be doing for healthier, brighter and clearer skin!

I’m going to start with a super important and overlooked one– cleaning your phone. We are all guilty of not cleaning our phones enough. After a quick google search, I found out that our phones carry 10x more bacteria than most toilet seats! When you put your phone up to your ear, all those germs are going on your skin and could be a major reason for why you’re breaking out! Always remember to clean your phone everyday!

2. UP YOUR WATER INTAKE
Another one I’m sure a lot of us struggle with is not drinking enough water. Staying hydrated is the key to keeping your skin healthy, moisturized, youthful and breakout-free. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty because by then you’ll already be dehydrated! Try drinking as much water as you can throughout the day by infusing your water with lemon or fruits, drinking water-rich foods (cucumber and watermelon are great!) and sipping on tea.
