Backstage with TRESemmé at NYFW

Being backstage at a fashion show is a thrilling experience.

It’s a whole other show in and of itself. It takes so much work and time to make a 10-15-minute runway show a success. It was exhilarating to be able to go backstage to many of the shows with TRESemmé and see the team in action. It was such a rush seeing all the non-stop action and work that goes into the hours and minutes before the show. A good show is so much more than just the clothes. The makeup, the hair, all those little details really add significantly to the feel of the show. I am always mesmerized by the thought TRESemmé puts into each show and hairstyle. I have to say my favorite backstage hairstyle was from the Alice and Olivia show. The TRESemmé team created a fun look using bandanas which I loved. It was so creative and went perfectly with the vivid colors of the show. Another look from the show was the two fishtail braids that looked so perfect! I personally love fishtail braids. It’s a simple but captivating look. TRESemmé used their Perfectly (un)Done Collection to perfect this look! The intricate and thought-out styles reflect and contribute immensely to the final product and vibe. I feel so fortunate to be able to work with this amazing team. I love the backstage experience at NYFW. It really makes you appreciate and get excited for the show so much more!

Estar backstage en un desfile de moda es una experiencia emocionante. Es todo un espectáculo en sí. Se necesita mucho trabajo y tiempo para hacer que un desfile de 10-15 minutos sea un éxito. Fue increíble poder ir detrás del escenario de muchos de los espectáculos con TRESemmé y ver al equipo en acción. Se me subía la adrenalina al ver toda la acción, el movimiento y trabajo en las horas y los minutos antes del espectáculo. Un buen espectáculo es mucho más que sólo la ropa. El maquillaje, el pelo, todos esos pequeños detalles realmente contribuyen a la creatividad y éxito de un show. Siempre me quedo asombrada con el equipo de TRESemmé y el detalle con el que crean los peinados de las modelos. Mis peinados favoritos fueron del show de Alice and Olivia. Uno de ellos era un chongo bajo muy sencillo enrollado con un pañuelo de colores llamativos. Quedaba perfecto con los colores del show. También había modelos que llevaban dos trenzas de pescado. Me fascina este tipo de trenza porque es sencilla pero llama la atención. Me siento muy afortunada de poder trabajar con este equipo increíble. Me encanta la experiencia backstage en NYFW. Realmente te hace apreciar y emocionarte hasta más por ver el desfile!
