This Fashion Month was without a doubt very special.
There were plenty of “firsts” and I was able to cross off many things off my Fashion-Week bucket list. One of the highlights was being invited to the Chanel’s Haute Couture presentation during NYFW. Everything having to do with Chanel is highly anticipated in the fashion world and being invited to see the Fall/Winter 16/17 collection was a privilege. I felt like a kid at Disneyland again! Little did I know that this was only the beginning (stay tuned to hear about my first ever Chanel runway show at PFW).
I loved being able to see the collection up close and personal. Being able to see the detail and admire the embellishments and intricate designs really is like seeing a famous work of art in a museum. These pieces truly are masterpieces and seeing it in person makes you appreciate the brilliance and hard work invested into each piece. I noticed a lot of romantic feminine silhouettes adorned with the typical Chanel embellishments and flair. A classic twist on the classic Chanel pant suit used tweed ruffles and embroidery. These pant suit pieces each are impressive and stand on their own which is great because you can mix and match with other pieces if you don’t want to wear them together.
Este mes de la moda fue sin duda muy especial. Tuve la gran oportunidad de realizar muchas metas personales. Una fue el hecho de ser invitada a la presentación de Chanel Haute Couture durante NYFW. Todo lo que tiene que ver con Chanel se espera con mucha anticipación en el mundo de la moda y ser invitada a conocer la colección de otoño/invierno 16/17 fue un privilegio. Me sentí como una niñita en Disneylandia! No me hubiera imaginado que esto sólo era el comienzo (estén atentos a para leer sobre mi primer desfile de Chanel en PFW).
Me encantó poder ver la colección de cerca. Ver el detalle y admirar los adornos y diseños intrincados realmente es como ver una famosa obra de arte en un museo. Estas piezas son realmente obras maestras y verlo en persona te hace apreciar el gran trabajo invertido en cada pieza. Está temporada vienen un montón de siluetas femeninas románticas con los adornos típicos de Chanel. El traje clásico de Chanel vienen de lana utilizado bordados. Cada pieza de los trajes es impresionante y destacan mucho aunque solo uses una parte del traje. Me encanta eso porque puedes mezclar y combinarlas con otras piezas si no quieres usar el traje y los pantalones juntos.
Qué prendas más maravillosas tiene Chanel, y tu no pudiste escoger mejor outfit para su desfile en París ibas muy Blair Waldorf, monísima!!
