You asked, I answered.

A lot of you often ask me questions about what products I use, my beauty routine etc. so I figured that it was about time I compiled all your questions and answered them in one post! If you have any more questions that I didn’t answer here, leave them in the comments and I will answer them as well!

Hair

  1. How do you take care of your hair?ย I get a haircut every two and a half months and I use different kind of hair masks once a week, alternating brands. I also use heat protection before curling my hair.
  2. How do you style your hair?ย I use a wand and my go-to hair style is my beach waves.ย I useย TRESemme’s heat tamerย sprayย always before curling my hair. Plus, I love how it smells. I use TRESemme’s Sea Salt Spray after curling my hair.
  3. What curling iron do you use?ย You are all going to kill me, but I honestly don’t even know the brand! Marco Peรฑa, my hair stylist friend from TRESemmรฉ gave it to me so long ago and it literally doesn’t even have a brand. It’s basically a simple ceramic 2-inch barrel wand.
  4. What products do you use for your hair?ย My hair is naturally straight so I have noticed that the less products I use on my hair, the more volume I have, which is my goal, especially when I do my beach waves. Other than the products I have already mentioned, I really don’t put much else in my hair. When it comes to hair, honestly, less is more! Just like your skin, you need to let it breathe.
  5. What hair treatments do you use for your hair?ย I’ve never gotten any professional hair treatments and I have never colored my hair so I really only use hair masks at home once a week.
  6. How do you get shiny hair without having greasy hair? I love this productย from Oribe. It does a really good job of giving your hair a nice shine without looking greasy.
  7. How do you do your beach waves?ย Video tutorial coming soon on YouTube just as soon as I pop this baby out! Promise!

Skin

  1. Do you have a favorite face wash?ย If you follow me on Insta Stories, you probably notice that I receive a lot of skin care products and I love to change it up and try new ones but one of my favorites is theย gentle cleanser from Kate Somervilleย and this cleanser from First Aid Beauty. I have sensitive skin so I try to clear of anything that has silicic acid.
  2. What is your daily skin care routine? I don’t do much in the morning. I just useย Sk-II Facial Treatment Essenceย which is like a toner and then ย I finish with a good moisturizer. At night, I start off with a makeup remover. I am currently using Bioderma makeup remover. Then I wash my face with my cleanser (currently using the one I mentioned from Kate Somerville) then I use Sk-II Facial Treatment Essence. I am obsessed with that product. I use it day and night. For face cream I use this cream from Embryolisse and then I use Cosmรฉ ย Decortรฉ eye cream.
  3. What are your tips for healthy hair and skin especially in hot humid weather?ย Use as less makeup as possible. I have dry skin so, in humid weather, I usually don’t use my extremely hydrating/moisturizing face creams. For hair, make sure to use a hydrating/replenishing mask at least once a week so your hair doesn’t get dry.
  4. What hydrating cream do you recommend for the face?ย The one I am currently using from Embryolisse. It’s one of my all-time favorites!
  5. Skincare recommendations for beginners? Something relatively simple that doesn’t require a million products?ย Basics: get a good makeup remover, face-wash, moisturizer and eye cream. I suggest going to Sephora where they can help you with you type of skin and most brands have starter kits which are great for trying out and seeing what works best with your skin.

Makeup

  1. Best makeup primer? ย I love the Honest Beauty Primer.ย ย You can easily find it online or at Target.
  2. What is your make-up routine? Watchย this video ย on my YouTube channel! That’s my basic, everyday, makeup routine. That’s literally all I do.
  3. Beach makeup faves?ย I honestly usually just want to let my skin breathe but I make sure to put on sunscreen. If I am going to be out on the beach or pool I want to look “cuter” I love this product from Avรฉne. It gives you amazing coverage and it has SPF 50! It’s perfect to cover up any blemishes and to get an even texture and natural skin for the beach.
  4. What is your favorite makeup foundation?ย I alternate between two. One of them is from IT Cosmeticsย and the other is the foundation from La Mer.
  5. Favorite makeup brand?ย I don’t really have one! With so many brands out there it’s impossible to choose just one! I love certain products from different brands but I couldn’t say one is my favorite over-all.

Pelo

  1. ยฟCรณmo cuidas tu pelo?ย Me corto el pelo cada dos meses y medio y uso diferentes tipos de mรกscaras para el pelo una vez a la semana, de varias marcas. Tambiรฉn uso protecciรณn contra el calor antes de plancharme el pelo.
  2. ยฟCรณmo te estilizas el pelo?ย Uso una varita y normalmente me hago ondas naturalesย de playa. Uso este spray de TRESemmรฉ siempre antes de ondular o planchar mi cabello para protegerlo del calor de la plancha. Ademรกs, me encanta cรณmo huele. Al terminar uso el spray de Sea Salt de TRESemmรฉ.
  3. ยฟQuรฉ plancha usas para hacerte las ondas? Todas me van a matar, pero sinceramente ni siquiera sรฉ cual es la marca! Marco Peรฑa, mi amigo estilista de TRESemmรฉ, me la dio hace tanto tiempo y literalmente ni siquiera tiene una marca. Es bรกsicamente una simple varita de cerรกmica y el barril es de 2 pulgadas.
  4. ยฟQuรฉ productos usas para tu pelo? Mi pelo es naturalmente lacio, asรญ que he notado que cuanto menos productos me pongo, mรกs volumen tengo, lo cual es mi meta, sobre todo cuando hago mis ondas de playa. Aparte de los productos que ya he mencionado, realmente no me pongo mucho mรกs en el pelo. Cuando se trata del pelo, honestamente, menos es mรกs! Igual a la piel, necesitas dejarlo respirar.
  5. ยฟQuรฉ tratamientos usas para tu pelo? Nunca me he hecho ningรบn tratamiento profesional de pelo ย y nunca me he pintado elย pelo asรญ que realmente solamente uso las mรกscaras del pelo en mi casa una vez a la semana.
  6. ยฟAlgรบn tip para que el pelo se vea brilloso pero no grasoso? Este producto de Oribe me encanta. Le da un buen brillo a tu pelo sin que se vea grasoso.
  7. ยฟCรณmo haces tus ondas de playa?ย Pronto viene un tutorial en mi canal de YouTube en cuanto ya nazca este bebรฉ ya harรฉ mรกs videos. Les prometo!

Piel

  1. ยฟTienes un limpiador para la cara favorito? Si me siguen en Insta Stories, seguro se han dado cuenta de que recibo muchos productos de cuidado de la piel y la verdad me encanta usarlos todos y cambiar los productos que uso para ver que le cae bien a mi piel. Ahorita, uno de mis favoritos es el limpiador de Kate Somerville y este limpiador de la marca First Aid. Tengo la piel sensible entonces para mi es importante buscar productos que no tengan รกcido silรญcico.
  2. ยฟCuรกl es tu rutina diaria de la piel? No hago mucho por la maรฑana. Sรณlo uso Sk-II Essence Facial Treatment que es como un toner y termino con una crema hidratante. Por la noche, empiezo con un removedor de maquillaje. Uso uno buenรญsimo de Bioderma. Luego me lavo la cara con mi limpiador (ahorita estoy usando el que mencionรฉ de Kate Somerville) luego me pongo Sk-II Essence Facial Treatment. Estoy obsesionada con ese producto. Lo uso dรญa y noche. Para la crema de la cara, uso esta crema de Embryolisse y luego uso la crema para los ojos de Cosmรฉ Decortรฉ.
  3. ยฟCuรกles son tus consejos para mantener el pelo y la piel luciendo bien, especialmente en el clima hรบmedo y caliente? Usen lo menos que puedan de maquillaje posible. Yo tengo la piel seca entonces en clima hรบmedo, por lo general no me pongo mis cremas muy hidratantes. Para el pelo, asegรบresense de usar una mascarilla hidratante al menos una vez a la semana para que su pelo no se seque y este brilloso.
  4. ยฟQuรฉ crema hidratante recomiendas para la cara? El que estoy usando es de Embryolisse. ยกEs uno de mis favoritos de toda la vida!
  5. ยฟRecomendaciones de cuidado de la piel para principiantes? Algo relativamente simple que no requiere un millรณn de productos?ย Enfรณquense en ย los fundamentos: conseguir un buen removedor de maquillaje, limpiador de cara, crema hidratante y crema para los ojos. Sugiero que vayan a Sephora donde pueden ayudarles a aprender que tipo de piel tienen. La mayorรญa de las marcas tienen kits que vienen con todo lo bรกsico. Maquillaje

  1. ยฟMejor primer de maquillaje? Me encanta el primer de Honest Beauty.ย Lo pueden encontrar fรกcilmente en lรญnea o en Target.
  2. ยฟCuรกl es tu rutina de maquillaje? ยกVean este video en mi canal de YouTube! Esa es mi rutina de maquillaje bรกsica,ย de diario. Literalmente eso es lo que hago.
  3. ยฟProducto de maquillaje favorito para playa?ย este producto de AvรฉneLa verdad, prefiero no ponerme nada y dejar que respire mi piel pero siempre me aseguro de ponerme bloqueador. Si quieren verse un poco mas “pintadas” o quieren taparse algunos granitos o manchas, es buenรญsimo. Funciona como una base de maquillaje y es un poco grueso pero te tapa todo increรญblemente y tiene SPF 50!
  4. ยฟCuรกl es tu base de maquillaje favorita? Me alterno entre dos. Uno de ellos es de IT Cosmetics y el otro es de La Mer.
  5. ยฟMarca de maquillaje favorita en general? Realmente no tengo una! Con tantas marcas que existen es imposible escoger sรณlo una! Me encantan ciertos productos de diferentes marcas pero no podrรญa decir que una marca es mi favoritoย en general.
