Coachella 2017. Check! Hector and I decided to stay in Palm Springs for a day or two to recover and relax. To be honest, I was hesitant about going to the festival up to the last week because when I was planning on going to Coachella months ago, I wasn’t sure how I would feel once the day finally came. Then when Beyonce decided to cancel, I thought about cancelling too. Thankfully, I was feeling great and I had just gotten back from Paris where I was walking 5-7 miles every day and felt perfect. This was the 7th year Hector and I attended Coachella so we are by no means rookies. We definitely know the ins and outs of the festival and know how to prepare for the weekend. During the day we would take it easy. I went to a couple of brunches and relaxed and then we would arrive at the festival later in the afternoon once the temperature had dropped. Of course, the festival was amazing! Just being there, the vibe, the music, surrounded by happy people dancing and singing is incredible. Some of my favorite performances were Empire of the Sun, Bastille, and Lady Gaga!
I love putting together my Coachella outfits every year. Usually, I like to wear some shorts and a fun top at least one of the days but this year because of my baby bump, I decided to wear some comfy, flowy dresses. Two of my favorites were this maxi dress and I paired it up with a fringe vest to give it that bohemian look. The second day I went with an edgier look with this purple dress with this cute jacket. No Coachella is complete without accessories! Of course, I accessorized with bags, makeup and fun body bauble on my face! Did any of you go to Coachella? What were your favorite performances?!
Se acabó Coachella! Héctor y yo decidimos quedarnos en Palm Springs por unos días para recuperarnos y relajarnos. La verdad, estaba dudando de ir al festival hasta que decidí la semana pasada porque cuando estaba planeando ir a Coachella meses atrás, no estaba segura de cómo me sentiría. Luego, cuando Beyonce canceló pensé en cancelar también, Afortunadamente, me sentía muy bien y acababa de regresar de París, donde estuve caminando 5-7 millas todos los días y me sentía perfecta. Este fue el séptimo año que Héctor y yo vamos a Coachella, así que no somos novatos. Definitivamente sabemos como prepararnos para el festival. Durante el día lo tomé con calma. Fui a un par de brunches y luego llegamos al festival más tarde cuando ya estaba tan fuerte el calor. Estuvo padrísimo el festival. Sólo estar ahí, el ambiente, la música, rodeado de gente feliz bailando y cantando es increíble. Mis favoritos fueron Empire of the Sun, Bastille y Lady Gaga!
Me encanta escoger mis outfits de Coachella cada año. Por lo general, uno de los días me gusta ponerme unos shorts de mezclilla pero este año debido a mi embarazo, decidí que lo más fácil y cómodo era ponerme vestidos. Este vestido maxi con el chaleco negro bohemio y el vestido morado con el mal de ojo fueron mis favoritos. ¡Y claro, Coachella no es Coachella sin muchos accesorios! ¿Alguno de ustedes fue a Coachella? ¿Cuáles fueron sus conciertos favoritos ?!

Is it worth it to stay at the festival or more fun to stay in a hotel in Palm Springs?

Thanks love! Coachella is definitely worth experiencing! Personally, I have never stayed at the campsite on the festival grounds. We have stayed at hotels but usually stay at a house with friends. I would recommend renting a place with Airbnb, especially if you go with more people. You can rest and hang out before heading out to the festival. It depends what kind of experience you are looking for. I know that campsite gets very loud and people start playing music until late at night and then early in the morning. But then some people love being on festival grounds and not having to drive etc.
