What a historic moment!
You might remember that I was in Mexico City a couple of weeks ago. I went there for an extremely special project with Dolce & Gabbana! This was truly a historic moment. The brand held its first haute couture fashion show in Mexico. To have such a prominent brand like Dolce & Gabbana decide to have an event like this is a pretty big deal and an honor for Mexico! I have worked with the brand in the past but this is the first time they asked me to participate in a photoshoot for the brand. It was so exciting and I feel so grateful and honored to have been invited to be a part of this. I love working with Dolce & Gabbana because they really support influencers and what we do. The concept behind this project is so cool because it focuses on real people. The designers have gone all over the world and gotten influencers from that specific city or country and they shoot them in the streets with real people that just happen to be walking by. They show the local culture and people in this way which I think is so amazing! Of course, there was a big party to finish off a hard-working week and celebrate the brand’s new sneaker collection. Of course, I was so happy to be a part of this incredible project and experience in my country! I look forward to working again with Dolce & Gabbana and I just have to say that I am obsessed with how the photos came out! This is definitely one of my favorite projects I have worked on and one that I will never forget!
¡Fue un momento histórico! Tal vez recuerdan que estuve en la ciudad de México hace unas semanas. ¡Fui para un proyecto especial con Dolce & Gabbana! Realmente fue un momento histórico. La marca celebró su primer desfile de alta costura en México. ¡Que una marca como Dolce & Gabbana decida tener un evento como este es algo muy importante y un honor para México! He trabajado con la marca en el pasado, pero esta es la primera vez que me pidieron que participara en una sesión de fotos para la marca. Fue muy emocionante y me siento tan agradecida y honrada de haber sido invitada a ser parte de esto. Me encanta trabajar con Dolce & Gabbana porque realmente apoyan a los influencers y lo que hacemos. El concepto detrás de este proyecto me encanta porque se enfoca en personas reales. Los diseñadores han viajado por todo el mundo e invitan a influencers de esa ciudad o país específico y hacen el photoshoot en las calles con personas reales que van pasando en ese momento. Enseñan la cultura y gente local de esta manera, lo cual se me hace padrísimo. Por supuesto, hubo una mega fiesta para terminar una semana de mucho trabajo y celebrar la nueva colección de tenis de la marca. Me encanto haber podido ser parte de este increíble proyecto y experiencia en mi México querido. Espero volver a trabajar con Dolce & Gabbana y solo tengo que decir que estoy obsesionada con las fotos de este proyecto! Definitivamente este ha sido uno de mis proyectos favoritos en el que he trabajado y uno que nunca olvidaré.
