My favorite trends.
Fashion month is over! If you have been following my travels these past couple of weeks, you have probably noticed I have been non-stop in between New York and Paris for fashion weeks and have had a couple of bumps along the way (that’s another story). More on that in my newsletter. Anyway, currently, I am taking some down time and relaxing after the craziest couple of weeks. I hadn’t seen Hector in what felt like forever and traveling alone with Enzo was definitely a challenge. Now, the three of us are finally together enjoying some family time in Switzerland and celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. Now, that fashion month is over, I wanted to share some of my favorite street style trends I saw in New York and Paris, many of which I have definitely already started incorporating in my own style. Which trend are you going to try out this season?!

Si han estado siguiendo todos mis viajes durante las últimas semanas, es probable que hayan notado que he estado sin parar entre Nueva York y París durante las semanas de la moda y que tuve un par de obstáculos en el camino (esa es otra historia). Más sobre eso en mi boletín. En fin, ahorita por fin, me estoy tomando un tiempo para descansar después de unas semanas de locura. No había visto a Hector en lo que parecía una eternidad y viajar solo con Enzo era definitivamente un desafío. Ahora, los tres estamos finalmente disfrutando juntos de un tiempo en familia y celebrando nuestro aniversario de bodas de 5 años. Ahora, ese mes de la moda ha terminado, quería compartir algunas de mis tendencias favoritas de estilo callejero que vi en Nueva York y París, muchas de las cuales definitivamente ya he empezado a incorporar en mi propio estilo. ¿Qué tendencia van a probar esta temporada?
1. Animal Print

I saw so much animal print! I am usually not a big fan but I am starting to get into it. I feel like it is going to be this season’s “neutral.” I especially love subtle pops of print that spice up a monochromatic look. If you aren’t a huge fan, you can try to accessorize with animal print. Try some booties, a scarf or a handbag with some animal print.
¡Vi muchísimos estampados de leopardo! Por lo general no soy muy fan, pero me esta empezando a gustar la verdad. Siento que va a ser el “neutral” de esta temporada. En especial, me encantan se incorpora sutilmente el estampado a atuendo monocromático. Si no te encanta esta tendencia intenta usar unos botines, una bufanda o una bolsa con algún estampado de animal.
2. Lime Green

Big designers are coming out with a lot of neon pieces and I noticed lime green a lot. It’s definitely something to try out if you want to step out of your comfort zone and have fun with it! Check the blog on Monday to see how I style this trend in my own way!

3. Big Sleeves

I absolutely love tops with interesting sleeves. This trend has been going on for a while and it was everywhere! Puffy sleeves, balloon sleeves, billowy sleeves! It is such an easy way to upgrade your wardrobe and have something that makes a statement.
Me encantan las blusas con mangas interesantes y grandes. ¡Esta tendencia ha estado ya por un tiempo y seguirá de moda. Es una manera fácil de mejorar tu vestuario y tener algo que haga resalté.
4. Logomania

Logos are cool again. Brands like Fendi and Dior have brought the logo trend to the next level. Dior’s saddlebag comeback has brought of it’s signature logo print and everyone has been wearing Fendi logos from shoes to bags to clothing!
Los logos son cool otra vez. Marcas como Fendi y Dior han llevado la tendencia del logo al siguiente nivel. La saddle bag de Dior ha regresado con el estampado de su logo vintage y todos han estado usando los logos de Fendi, desde zapatos hasta bolsas y ropa.
5. Clear PVC

If you haven’t hopped on board this trend there is still time. I saw clear PVC everywhere from bags to shoes to hats. I am definitely still loving this trend and almost evert brand is incorporating this trend in their products in some way.
Si no se han unido a esta tendencia, todavía hay tiempo. Vi esta tendencia transparente en todas partes, desde bolsas hasta zapatos y sombreros. Definitivamente me sigue gustando esta tendencia y casi cada marca está incorporando esta tendencia en sus productos de alguna manera.
6. Cowboy Boots

Believe it or not, this southern staple is the latest high fashion trend and not just for Coachella or festival season! The cowboy aesthetic is in and I am expecting to see a lot more of this trend as we get further into the fall season.
Lo creas o no, este elemento básico del sur es el zapato de moda del momento y no solo para Coachella o la temporada de festivales. La estética del vaquero se está usando mucho y vamos a ver mucho más de esta tendencia esta temporada de otoño.
The only trend I’m currently liking are animal prints – but only when they’re worn subtlely! I’m sure the other trends will grow on me with time 🙂

Love the leopard and cowboy boots. Not happy that wearing labels is coming back. I always thought wearing labels was silly and was happy when that trend was gone sad to see that making its come back. All these trends are kinda crazy to me except animal print- it’s never gone away. And all black outfit with some leopard print flats is always so cute and very Audrey Hepburn- can’t do wrong with that!

I really like all the different style that each model has. I am in love in how each outfit has a mix of styles, being how it has a super pretty purple dress and mixed in with the white cowboy boots (which i adore) and the leopard bag. I believe that all of these outfits really show how each model makes their style unique. As of one being with sneakers, heels, or even slip on sandals! Each outfit has a variety of colors, or even mixed patterns. Love each style how it would be out of my comfort zone to wear but, are totally fun and chic.

Oh my! I guess I’m getting old. So many of them look like they got out of bed and grabbed the first thing they found. On their own each piece is strong (and I probably have at least one of everything in my closet with numerous pairs of cowboy boots ) but to pair them with something totally opposite does little but say “look at me.” To each his own taste but I wish designers and trends weren’t so outrageous, and even those that are borderline could only be worn by a very thin person.
Your blog is great and it sounds like you’re having a good time at it so please take no offense. I always told my children to decide what they were trying to say in how they dressed. I guess even clown outfits with outrageous prints, garish colors and dis-proportions have a place… somewhere. Blessings
The thing that my little one and I love to do is going to the book store or library every Saturday 화천출장샵morning. We literally stay there for hours at a time just reading and reading books to each other. The other thing we love doing is going to the park and playing soccer.
