Homebody at Heart

I love to travel but I have learned to truly appreciate the time when I get to be home.

I had an amazing time traveling for fashion month but it feels so good to be home, sleep in my own bed and finally be able to unpack, relax and take some time for myself. I have been enjoying some quality time with my family and catching up on some sleep! At first, it felt a little weird to be back though because I had just moved to a new place right before leaving for my travels and at that point, I probably had slept in more hotels than I had in my new home. So, as you know, I have been spending a lot of time and effort trying to make my new house feel like home. It was such a mess and moving is always a hassle but things are coming together and I am almost ready to show you the final result! For now, it’s so nice to be able to get in casual and comfy clothes and relax at home!

 Me encanta viajar pero definitivamente he llegado a apreciar los días que puedo estar tranquila en casa. Me la pasé increíble viajando para el mes de la moda, pero se siente tan bien estar de vuelta en casa, dormir en mi propia cama y finalmente poder desempacar y descansar. He estado disfrutando a mi familia y amigas. Tengo que admitir que cuando regrese a casa, se sintió un poco porque justo antes de irme de viaje, me acababa de mudar a una nueva casa. Yo creo que había pasado más noches en hoteles que en mi nueva casa.  Como le he contado, he estado tratando de hacer que mi nuevo hogar se sienta como casa. Era un desastre y mudarse siempre es mucho trabajo. Por lo tanto, aunque me encanta estar de vuelta, también ha significado mucho trabajo pero ya va mejorando el asunto. Pronto les podré enseñar como quedó todo. Por ahorita, me encanta poder estar en ropa cómoda y estar agusto disfrutando de estar en casa.

    Congratulations on the new house !! the transition from being always out and travelling from a place to another to just relaxing at home is a bit difficult, kind of hard to adjust at first but when your house is homey and feels cozy you won’t get bothered. So i totally agree with you 🙂 And i love the outfit, so casual and laid back !!
