Pleated Neutrals

Suns out, buns out! Right?

If only this could be true on a daily basis…. The reality of things is that most of us only make it to the beach a couple times during the summer, therefore the other 90 days we are stuck with real life, oh you know,  things to do and people to see.

Today, I decided to show you how I styled a beautiful pair of Zimmerman shorts in an adequate manner without showing too much skin, especially for those busy Fridays. I am a HUGE fan of always carrying a trench coat or long duster jacket with me, mainly because it can always get a bit windy in San Diego. Plus, it adds a touch of sophistication when wearing shorts because it eliminates that terminology #legsfordays. Although #legsfordays is something we all strive for, its not necessarily something we want to be showing when we are in and out of meetings, so a trench or long sleeveless sweater is always my go to option.  I also decided to pair them up with a beautiful pleated blouse, to continue the neutral palette. Lastly, always try to pair up with your shorts with thick heels, or heeled sandals. Just trust me on this on.

I hope you all have a great weekend, I woke up in Disneyland today, and I am so excited because its been almost five years since the last time I went. Make sure to follow on instagram @blankitinerary

Dreamy palette <3 shorts and top are gorgeous and completely agree with the trench coat fading away the 'legsfordays attitude'. And this chanel vanity bag is to die for!
