That NYFW diet.

To be honest, one of the pleasures of NYFW is the food. At first, I have to admit, I try to watch what I eat but let’s be real, I’m in New York! During the day, I am way too busy to even eat but you can bet I am going to enjoy some good food for dinner! With so many amazing restaurants in New York, it’s hard to choose where to eat! This year, we stayed in SoHo so we mainly ate around there. We actually went to some of the places you guys recommended us via Instagram. Thought I would share where we ate for anyone who find themselves in the Big Apple. Anyone visiting New York soon?

Para ser sincera, uno de los placeres de NYFW es la comida. Al principio, tengo que admitir que trato de cuidar lo que como, pero seamos realistas, ¡estoy en Nueva York! Durante el día, estoy demasiado ocupada como para comer, ¡pero no voy a negarme de una buena cena! Con tantos restaurantes increíbles en Nueva York, ¡es difícil escoger dónde comer! Este año, nos quedamos en Soho así que siempre comimos por allí. De hecho fuimos a algunos de los lugares que ustedes nos recomendaron a través de Instagram. Pensé que compartiría los lugares a los que fuimos para cualquiera que se encuentre en Nueva York próximamente!

 Galli– 45 Mercer St

Came here for dinner on our first night. We were starving and they were able to seat us quickly. The restaurant has a dim-lit romantic ambience and the food was delicious! We had some delicious pasta and salad. We also had some truffle fries but I probably wouldn’t order them again.

Vinimos aquí para cenar en nuestra primera noche. Nos moríamos de hambre y nos pudieron sentar rápidamente. El restaurante tiene un ambiente romántico y la comida estuvo deliciosa. Pedimos unas pastas y ensalada. También pedimos las truffle fries, pero probablemente no las pediría ahí otra vez.

About Coffee-71 Sullivan St

Ok, so this is not a restaurant but I don’t know about you but for me, knowing about a good coffee spot when you are in a new city is essential! This was right around the corner from our hotel and we would stop here in the mornings for coffee and a quick breakfast. They even have overnight oats, almond butter, and delicious croissants.

Ok, este no es un restaurante, pero no sé ustedes, pero para mí, ¡saber de un lugar para comprarme un buen café cuando estoy en una nueva ciudad es esencial! Estaba a la vuelta de la esquina de nuestro hotel y pasábamos por aquí en las mañanas para tomar un café y un desayuno rápido. 

Aurora SoHo– 510 Broome St

We had the most amazing burrata and we tried two different pastas and the fish. Everything was amazing but seriously that burrata was out of this world. I would love to come back for brunch which I have heard is amazing.

Comimos la burrata más increíble y probamos dos pastas diferentes y el pescado. Todo estuvo increíble pero en serio que esa burrata estaba fuera de este mundo. Me encantaría volver para el brunch que he escuchado es buenísimo.

Chinese Tuxedo– 5 Doyers St

I came here for dinner with Ivana and my managers on a Sunday night. It is in a weird alley and when we arrived we were all confused thinking we must be in the wrong place but once you find the restaurant, inside it is really cool! I love that even on a Sunday night, you can go out for a late dinner and there will be great ambience. The food was really good but I was definitely bloated the next day because of all the sodium, but it was worth it!

Vine a cenar con Ivana y mis managers un domingo por la noche. Está en un callejón extraño y, cuando llegamos, todas estábamos confundidas pensando que teníamos que estar en el lugar equivocado, pero una vez que encuentras el restaurante, por adentro está muy padre. Me encanta que hasta los domingos en la noche, puedes salir a cenar tarde y siempre hay ambiente. La comida estuvo muy buena, pero definitivamente amanecí super hinchada al día siguiente por tanta sal, ¡pero valió la pena!

Sant Ambreous-265 Lafayette St

It’s a classic. One of my favorite spots in New York! They have delicious food as well as yummy pastries. I love coming here for breakfast especially. It’s a cute and trendy spot with quirky decor and a great ambience.

Es un clásico. ¡Uno de mis lugares favoritos en Nueva York! Tienen comida y postres deliciosos.  Me encanta venir aquí especialmente para desayunar. Es un lugar bonito y moderno con una decoración divertida y buen gran ambiente.
