This striped crop top was one of those hit or miss situations, I was on my way out to an early dinner, and I knew exactly what I wanted to wear, or at least I had the idea in my head, but I had nothing close to it in my closet. Yeah I know, story of our lives. And as I fought with myself, going hanger by hanger in my shirt section then dress section, it suddenly clicked. I saw a F21 dress that I had bought to wear for my honeymoon, that I never ended up wearing, because the closest I got to wearing something “dressed up” was a summer dress with sandals, so anyways, I took it out, laid it on my bed, got the scissors and cut along one of the lines…..and all this time I was thinking, OMG, I hope this works cause if not I’m screwed, I still won’t know what to wear, I am ruining a cute dress and I am already 10 mins late. So, I cut away, tried it on and to my surprise, it fit perfectly. I usually don’t have this outcome with last minute diy’s, but God had pity on me just this once.
