Hello my fwends, it’s Tuesday! Not quite close to the weekend but that’s ok, because I have exciting news for you! As I mentioned before, my blog will be undergoing some interesting (but amazing) changes and with it come, Tasty Tuesdays!
Tasty Tuesdays will consist of easy, healthy recipes that will help us all maintain a healthy lifestyle without having to spend hours in the kitchen. Clean eating is such an important factor in my life. I consider myself a major foodie but also a health freak of some sort, and for some reason, I feel as though I am not the only one with this problem. I love tasty food that comes from the right places and most importantly, that do my body good.
Today, I teamed up with my good friend, Pilar Muñoz, creator of The Whole Table to show you how to make Raw Energy Balls. A great substitute for that donut/bagel you eat every morning. Aha, gotcha!
You will need the following ingredients:
1 cup of almonds and/or walnuts
1 cup of dates
2 tablespoons of chia
1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon of cacao powder
2 tablespoons of hemp protein (optional)
2-4 tablespoons of coconut oil
Use a food processor to process all of the ingredients.
Make small balls with your hands and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
