I love it when the weather starts to change but I have come to learn that as seasons change, so must your skin-care routine.
When the weather changes, you select different clothes to wear and you need to do the same with your skin care products. Here are some of my top 4 fall skin care tips!
Change Your Moisturizer
Fall tends to be more dry so your skin needs more hydration than it does during the summer. I switch out my regular moisturizer for a thicker, more hydrating one. It will protect your skin from becoming rough and parched.
Exfoliate
You might think exfoliation would exacerbate dryness but it’s actually a great way to treat parched and flaky skin. I look for oil-based sugar scrubs that gently exfoliate without stripping my skin of its moisture.
Protect your Lips
Don’t forget to take care of those luscious lips! The dryness and brisk winds can definitely take a toll on your lips. I always make sure to carry a good lip balm or chapstick to keep my lips moisturized all day. My favorite are the EOS organic lip balms. They are so cute and I love trying out all the flavors. They protect my lips and also gives them a natural glossy, soft look. And did I mention they taste and smell delicious?
Wear Sunblock
Don’t think you can store away your sunblock until next summer! Whether it’s a clear autumn day or a gray one, you still need to protect your skin from the sun’s aging ultraviolet rays. Sun damage can happen any season of the year and trust me, you might not see the damage right away but you will in a couple of years!
Thank you EOS for sponsoring this post.

These are great tips for transitioning your skin for fall. Love the point about continuing to wear sunblock as 90% of skin aging is caused by the sun according to the Skin Cancer Foundation. UV rays from the sun are present year-round and even on cloudy days. According to the FDA – even on an overcast day, up to 80% of the sun’s UV rays can get through the clouds. Sun protection matters. Thanks for sharing the importance of sunscreen everyday as it really is one of the most effective, accessible and affordable anti-aging products.
Everyone ought to read what you’ve written because it contains a wealth of knowledge that can help them become more open-minded. I am extremely appreciative of that.
