The end of the year is always the busiest time of the year. Countless holiday family reunions and get-togethers with friends mean a lot of outfit planning because it is clearly the season to “dress to impress”. I like to keep things simple, and over the years, I have learned that the best way to keep the outfits flowing out of your closet is to focus on the basics.
I have partnered with cabi, a clothing line of designs for real women, who live real lives, to show you their new Welcome Joy collection. The Collection features great fall essentials perfect for crisp mornings and cozy afternoons.
You can never go wrong with a black jumpsuit. This Casey Jumpsuit is great for all seasons, and all occasions. I love how it’s so effortless and minimalistic, yet so chic. It’s perfect for that last minute date night, or a night out with your girls. It has a cinched waist and a wrap top which hugs you in all the right places and is flattering across the board. Like I always say, when in doubt, wear black!!
I completed the look with the cabi twist scarf and gray accessories. I am almost always cold. Yes, even in San Diego, and I have noticed that when my neck is warm, I can stay warm throughout the day, so I know this scarf will soon become my wintertime favorite.
A trench is another must have fall essential. This Casablanca Trench is the perfect shade of camel that can be paired with any color scheme. My favorite part about this trench is that it doesn’t have any belt loops. They were left off intentionally, so you can style it with another belt or simply leave it open with no belt at all.
I styled my Casablanca trench with cabi Nouveau leggings. I mean, who doesn’t love leggings? If you are an avid legging wearer like myself, you know all leggings are not created equal. It’s actually harder than it seems, to find that perfect pair.
These cabi leggings are super form fitting and the fabric is thick enough to avoid creases in unwanted areas. The fabric also lets you roll up the ends, to make them ankle length when wearing with heels, or full length when wearing boots. I completed the look with the Eclipse top and black heels.
