Look taller with these simple tricks!
I have had a lot of people tell me, when they meet me in person, that judging from my photos, they thought I was taller. Well, I do use some styling tricks to my advantage to help me look a bit taller in photos and in person. Here are a couple of quick tips on how a floor-length coat can help you appear a bit longer than you are. It’s all about perspective
- Flaunt that Waist!
- Wear something high-waisted or cinched to your waist so you accentuate your body figure.
- Play with Perspective
- I recommend wearing a bottom that is higher than the coat. For example, you can wear culottes, cropped jeans or a midi-pencil skirt. Basically anything that is a tad shorter than the coat and will reveal a little bit of your legs at the bottom so that you look taller.
- Elongate Your Legs
- Grab some heels or booties and give yourself that extra height! The floor length coat already has an elongating effect and if you are wearing some culottes or mid-length bottoms that show off the bottom of your legs, the heels or boots will show off nicely and make your legs look even longer!

- ¡Acentúa tu Cintura!
- Ponte unos jeans altos de cintura o un cinto para que acentúe tu figura. Con un abrigo tan largo y suelto, es bueno ponerte algo mas apretado de la cintura para que te veas larga.
- Juega con perspectiva
- Recomiendo que lo que te pongas sea más corto que el abrigo. Por ejemplo, puedes usar culottes, pantalones y jeans que estén un poco recortados o una falda midi. Básicamente cualquier cosa que sea un poco más corta que el abrigo y revele un poco de tus piernas para que te veas más alta.
- Alarga tus piernas
¡Ponte algunos tacones o botines! El abrigo te da un efecto de longitud y si estás usando culottes o pantalones o falda corta que enseñen un poquito de tus piernas, los tacones o botas se verán muy bien y tus piernas se harán que tus piernas se vean hasta más largas.
