My favor-eats in NYC.

Do you consider yourself a foodie? If the answer is yes, today’s post is for you. As most of you know, I recently spent ten days in New york during fashion week and I have to say one of my biggest sacrifices during this time, was not being able to go restaurant hopping as I tend to do in the big apple. I barely had time to eat for that matter! When I did have time, I would sneak off to my favorite places, so today, I decided to make Tasty Tuesdays about my favorite go to places in New York city.

Café Gitane: The bear claw mocha is a given and those waffles are heaven!! Def a must go in Nyc.

ChaLait: An instagrammers paradise. The marble tables, the floor, the matcha art lattes, there is seriously no way you cannot take a good photo here. I must confess I have had better matcha in my life, but I see myself continuously going here just for the pictures, sorry not sorry!

Café Cluny: My newest discovery! I had a lunch meeting here and I was 30 minutes early, so I decided to take a breather and catch up on some emails. I ordered a soy latte and loved the fast wifi (this is priceless!). When everyone arrived, we quickly ordered the burger, the avocado toast, and the BLT. Soo soo good!

Tea time at Bergdorf Goodman: Makes you feel like a Londoner, although better, because once you are done with the tasty sandwiches and pastries you can walk them off by shopping.

Catch: Great for dinner, I have tried everything on the menu and you seriously can’t go wrong, with anything that you order. (My fav: Hamachi Crudo, Stone Heated Kobe, Seared scallop sushi, Crispy Tuna Rice Cakes) Plus, such a cool place, it was the place to be during NYFW.

I do not have a photo for this one but believe me when I say, Spring Natural NYC! This one is for straight up foodies, who are not looking to instagram their food. The lighting is not the best, nor the decoration, but the food my friends, is to die for. It’s right next to Jack Wife’s Freda, in Soho and their Veggie Almond burger is the best burger I have ever had. Organic, good food makes my day anyday!

And the list could go on and on, but unfortunately we don’t have all day! Have you been to any of these? Did I miss your favorite? I always love trying out new places, so please do tell!

Great tips – I love Cafe Gitane, too!! And to add my favorite spot: it’s a small restaurant in Greenpoint/Williamsburg called Adelina’s!

I just went to Cafe Gitane for the first time this fashion week and it was my favorite meal of the trip! We went for dinner though, if you haven’t been for dinner you HAVE to, so so good! Oh except that my friend who lives in the city forgot it was cash only so he had to run to the ATM to get us cash hahaha!

Your NYC food list sounds great, and it’s always exciting to hear about favorite spots in the city, especially during a busy time like fashion week. Even with a tight schedule, sneaking away to places like Café Gitane for something special like the bear claw mocha or their famous waffles sounds totally worth it. Cities like New York City are perfect for food lovers because there are so many unique places to try. In a different way, exploring options on something like the Cookout food menu also gives that same feeling of choice and variety, where people can quickly look through different items and pick what matches their cravings, making the whole food experience simple but enjoyable.

As someone who loves exploring restaurants when traveling, this was a fun read. Café Gitane and Spring Natural NYC sound especially appealing since I’m always looking for places that focus on quality food rather than just presentation. I often use a restaurant menu guide before a trip to compare options, but personal recommendations like these are what really help me decide where to eat. Looking forward to trying a few of these spots next time I’m in NYC.
