The Best Beauty Products I Tried in 2019

I’ve been wanting to write this post since December and figured it’s better a little late than never. I definitely got way more into beauty last year, learning which skincare products work best for me and which makeup is actually worth the hype. Since I got to try so many new products in 2019, I decided I would share some of my absolute favorites with you!

Biossance Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum: Biossance was a new brand I tried in 2019 and I’ve been loving it. It’s sustainable, 100% plant based, clean and super effective. This lightweight serum is great for sensitive skin since it uses a plant-based retinol, giving you the benefits of a traditional retinol without the harsh side effects.

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil: The Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil is amazing for brightening, hydrating, firming and evening out skin tone. I use it morning and night on the face and neck after cleansing and applying serum.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner: Mario Badescu is one of those brands we’ve all tried. Rose Facial Spray, anyone? I tried the Glycolic Acid Toner last year and have been hooked since. I love using it as a sort of “double cleanse.” I apply the toner on a cotton round in order to pick up any lingering makeup or dirt.

Cle de Peau Intensive Fortifying Cream: I love sleeping with a super moisturizing night cream. The Cle de Peau Intensive Fortifying Cream is a really great anti-aging night cream that’ll leave you with hydrated, refreshed skin by morning. I’ll admit, it’s a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it.

Flight Mode Cloud Mister: I talked about how important a humidifier is for dry skin in the fall/winter months before (read more here). So of course, I knew I had to try the Flight Mode Cloud Mister, a portable facial humidifier used to hydrate and soothe the skin while you’re on the go. All you have to do is fill it with bottled water, hold the device about 2 inches from the face and mist away! If you’re like me and get super dry skin while you’re flying, this mister will be a gamechanger.

L’ Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Boosting Primer: Who ever thought a lash primer would actually make such a difference? After I tried this primer, I could definitely tell why people swear by it for getting fuller, thicker looking lashes.

L’ Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara: I may be a little late to the game with this affordable mascara, but it’s seriously so good. The L’ Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara is both volumizing and lengthening so it makes your lashes look thick and super long! I like to use the lash primer first and follow with one or two coats of the Lash Paradise Mascara!L

Armani Power Fabric Concealer: If you’re looking for a high coverage, long-wear concealer that doesn’t crease, you’re going to love the Armani Fabric Concealer. It covers redness, dark circles and blemishes like a dream and doesn’t feel super heavy on the skin. It’s my go-to for event makeup or whenever I know there will be photos!

Armani Beauty Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick in 522: It’s hard to pick just one favorite nude lipstick, since a nude lip is always my go-to. But, Number 522 from the Armani Beauty Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick collection is definitely one of my favorites I tried in 2019. It’s the perfect nude pink with a creamy, non-drying matte finish.

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad: If you follow me on IG than you already know how much I love the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Leopard Sun. It’s the perfect on the go and traveling size and is definitely versatile enough to create multiple eye looks. My favorite shade is the rusted red shade!

Tom Ford Brow Gel: 2019 was, no doubt, the year of the bold brow. I tried tons of brow products to help me get that bushy brow look and would have to say the Tom Ford Fiber Brow Gel was one of my favorites. It comes in a few different shades and is very long lasting!

Thank you!!!

I love the Mario Badescu toner! So affordable for a great product. Also, I’m definitely buying a lash primer asap! I’ve been considering lash extensions, but so much about it freaks me out. Thank you!

I thought Lash Paradise was great, but after using it for a few months, I noticed my eyelashes were getting shorter!!! Ahhhh switched back to prestige brands (currently Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir, with or without Lancome Cils Booster XL), and my lashes recovered in about 3 months. My sister experienced the same thing, but it took her much longer to switch.
